Oxygen Resort is a hidden gem located in a quiet residential area of Paramaribo. It is the perfect place to fully relax, but also a reliable and comfortable home base for our long-stay and business guests. Behind the scenes, everything revolves around teamwork, attention to detail, and a high standard of quality. And in this, you as a Housekeeper play an important role.
What will you do?
As a Housekeeper, you ensure that our accommodations and general areas are clean, tidy, and well maintained. Thanks to your efforts, guests immediately feel welcome and comfortable.
Your responsibilities include, among others:
– Cleaning and preparing guest rooms and bungalows;
– Cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas;
– Replacing bed linens and towels;
– Checking rooms for cleanliness and completeness;
– Replenishing amenities (such as toiletries and coffee/tea);
– Reporting technical issues or irregularities;
– Working according to established hygiene and cleaning protocols;
– Collaborating with colleagues to maintain a high quality standard.
What do you bring?
- Experience in housekeeping or cleaning is a plus
- Knowledge of cleaning products and hygiene regulations
- Attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliability and a proactive work attitude
- Flexible availability (including weekends and holidays)
- Full-time availability (35–40 hours per week)
- A hands-on mentality
- A completed hospitality education or relevant training is a plus, but not required.
